Unlike other Vitamin C products that are filled with 80–95% water and chemicals, PLANT MOTHER uses a 100% natural, water-free formulation. Vitamin C products with water as their main ingredient typically lack nutrients. They also contain heavy preservatives to prevent bacterial growth. VITAMIN C SERUM APPLICATION AND USE
Apply the serum as the first step on thoroughly cleansed skin. Start by putting 2–3 drops on your hands and gently pat the serum onto your face, neck, and décolletage. Wait until it is fully absorbed before applying makeup or layering other products. Use it every morning and/or evening. With daily use, the bottle will last 3–4 months.
This Vitamin C serum works great with PLANT MOTHER’s Niacinamide and Retinol. Use Vitamin C in the morning, followed by Niacinamide and sunscreen. At night, after cleansing, apply Niacinamide Serum to calm the skin and prepare it for retinol. You won’t need additional moisturizer, as our serums do double duty (serum & moisturizer).
Save when you buy all three serums, and receive a complimentary eye serum.
Most of our customers don’t use a moisturizer because our serums are as nourishing as they are moisturizing. So from the nutritional standpoint, you don’t need any other products because our serums are moisturizing and have a high amount of nutrients, vitamins, and antioxidants to fulfill your skin’s nutritional needs.
If you want to use any additional products, make sure you use our serum first (as a first step), on a clean skin, and wait until your skin soaks it before applying any other product or makeup.
Some people like to apply our serums on damp skin for a very nice moistened feel.
Our Vitamin C serum is perfect for am – apply it in the morning right after washing your face (on slightly damp or dry skin).
Use our Retinol serum during the night. Again, clean your skin and apply the serum on a slightly damp or dry face.
You can use only a few drops each time, put them on your hands and gently press all over your face. Some people like to put 5-6 drops, some 2-3 – it is a personal preference, you can test and see how much you like to apply.
