Most of our customers don’t use a moisturizer because our serums are as nourishing as they are moisturizing. So from the nutritional standpoint, you don’t need any other products because our serums are moisturizing and have a high amount of nutrients, vitamins, and antioxidants to fulfill your skin’s nutritional needs.

If you want to use any additional products, make sure you use our serum first (as a first step), on a clean skin, and wait until your skin soaks it before applying any other product or makeup.

Some people like to apply our serums on damp skin for a very nice moistened feel.

Our Vitamin C serum is perfect for am – apply it in the morning right after washing your face (on slightly damp or dry skin).

Use our Retinol serum during the night. Again, clean your skin and apply the serum on a slightly damp or dry face. 

You can use only a few drops each time, put them on your hands and gently press all over your face. Some people like to put 5-6 drops, some 2-3 – it is a personal preference, you can test and see how much you like to apply. 

The Retinol serum is great for dry, mature, and sensitive skin. It is made without any known allergens – no synthetics, artificial fragrances, chemicals, GMOs, or even nut oils. Many customers with eczema or rosacea have reported that their flares were gone after using this serum. 

Our ingredients and products are sourced locally. We exclusively utilize locally grown, organic ingredients from South Florida. Some of these ingredients are even cultivated on our small organic farm in Miami. Additionally, our retinol serum, along with all our other products, is handcrafted by us in small batches. We refrain from using overseas ingredients or manufacturing suppliers, ensuring freshness and maintaining the highest quality control standards for our serums.

On average, a 30ml / 1 oz bottle will last around 4 months if you use the serum every day.

Consider this analogy: You can opt for a McDonald’s meal or indulge in a dining experience at a Michelin-starred restaurant. There’s a notable price disparity between the two, which mirrors a stark contrast in quality and the health benefits of the food. The same principle applies to our products.

Our serums are 100% made in the USA, using locally sourced ingredients. Unlike some other brands that rely on cost-effective components imported mainly from overseas, particularly China, Plant Mother exclusively uses locally grown, organic ingredients. These ingredients not only offer superior nutritional richness and freshness compared to conventional options but also come at a higher cost.

Furthermore, among all our ingredients, Plant Mother selects the most premium and rare botanicals, virgin and unrefined, renowned for their exceptional anti-aging potency—think Kakadu plum, prickly pear, and more. These ingredients are incredibly beneficial for your skin but come at a price point significantly higher than synthetic fillers, which lack nutritional value and are often laden with skin allergens and irritants.

Finally, our commitment to eco-friendliness extends to our packaging, which is entirely free of plastic and designed to produce zero waste. This eco-conscious approach, while better for the planet, does come at a higher cost. It’s important to note that the beauty industry is a major contributor to plastic waste, churning out over 120 billion units of plastic packaging annually.

We do not have a parent company, we’re a small independent brand, based in Miami, FL. We NEVER test on animals and our products are 100% plant-based and vegan. We don’t sell in China and we don’t use any ingredients from China – everything is locally sourced and manufactured in Miami.
