HOW TO USE RETINOL AND VITAMIN C

You can apply Vitamin C in the morning (followed by sunscreen) and Retinol in the evening, or use them on alternating nights.

Apply each product to clean skin. Place only 3–5 drops in your hands, then gently pat it onto your face, neck, and décolletage. Remember, results won’t happen overnight. With daily use, you can expect to see improvements within 3–7 weeks. That’s why we recommend staying consistent with your serum routine.

Most of our customers don’t use a separate moisturizer, as our serums are both deeply nourishing and moisturizing. From a nutritional standpoint, no additional products are necessary. Our serums are rich in nutrients, vitamins, and antioxidants that support your skin’s needs.

If you choose to use other products, apply our serum first to clean skin and allow it to fully absorb before applying additional skincare or makeup.

Some people prefer applying our serums to slightly damp skin for an extra soft, moisturized feel.

Our Vitamin C serum is ideal for AM use. Apply it in the morning right after washing your face, on slightly damp or dry skin.

Use our Retinol serum at night. Cleanse your skin, then apply the serum to a slightly damp or dry face.

Use just a few drops each time. Place the drops in your hands and gently press the serum over your face. Some people prefer 5–6 drops, while others use 2–3, it’s a personal preference, so feel free to test and see what works best for you.

We do not have a parent company, we’re a small independent brand, based in Miami, FL. We NEVER test on animals and our products are 100% plant-based and vegan. We don’t use any ingredients from overseas – we locally source and manufacture in Miami. 

On average, it will last around 4 months if you use it every day. That’s a little over $1 per day.

Both serums are great for dry, mature, and sensitive skin. They are made without any known allergens – no synthetics, artificial fragrances, chemicals, GMOs, or even nut oils. Many customers with eczema or rosacea have reported that their flares were gone after using these serums.

Our ingredients are sourced locally. We exclusively use organically grown ingredients from South Florida, with some cultivated on our small organic farm in Miami. All of our products are handcrafted by us in small batches. We do not use overseas ingredients or manufacturing suppliers, ensuring freshness and the highest quality control standards for our serums.

    I purchase the serums as a set over and over again. While I have tried other Vitamin C and Retinol products, I always come back to Plant Mother. I am sensitive to both C and Retinol. That does not happen with Plant Mother’s serums. There is no need for my face to burn or turn red for products to be effective!

    Cold weather irritates my skin and makes it extremely dry. For my face, I use a cream/gel cleanser (foaming dries out my skin), vitamin C serum, azelaic acid (I have rosacea), eye serum, and retinol. I don’t use everything at the same time; some I use in the morning and some at night. It sounds like a lot, but it takes less than 10 minutes. My rosacea was terrible, but now it’s barely noticeable. Love Plant Mother’s serums.
